January 4th, 2002; Guelph, Ontario... Rob Geddes of Evident Software, and Bill Dubs & Amitav Dash of The Dubs & Dash Group, announced today the formation of a new company called Xgentia Software. Created to take advantage of the unique specialities of the individual principals (as it relates to developing easier-to-use, yet more powerful software solutions for businesses), Xgentia's flagship product is called webEvident.

(A separate co-branded version called Labyrinth has been created for the exclusive use of the Dubs & Dash Group's web development firm, Twisted-Pair Digital).

webEvident is a revolutionary new website development and content management solution – the first application to successfully merge the traditionally disparate functions of development and management in one software solution. webEvident takes advantage of non-proprietary, accepted standards to store and transform stored data into a website.

It is a software solution that will allow web developers to more efficiently and cost-effectively create client websites, while simultaneously allowing clients to be able to manage multiple website types (wireless, news, web) from a single store of data. It also allows for multiple publishing targets (newsletter, email, pdf, web, etc.) from that same store of data, and allows multiple users to update content (although final upload can be passed through one point of approval) – all of which provides for unlimited possibilities of promotion, tremendous cost savings, and integrated workflows.
